He was born in May 1962 and has created a beautiful family with his wife, Kalliopi Koni. The second generation consists of Violeta and Giannis, while the beginning of the third generation has been made with a granddaughter, Iris.
As for his business, in 1976 he founded the homonymous chain of electrical appliances stores "SYKARIS", with 28 points of sale, 400 employees and an annual turnover of 60 million euros, which until 2006 remained the owner.

Since 2006 he is the CEO of ALPI SA, with activities - Real Estate, Self Storages, Student Residences, Energy Production. Since 1991 he is a member of the Association of Greek Mountaineers SEO and the Hellenic Mountaineering and Climbing Federation EOOA.

He is an athlete of the leading company Marmot, Marmot Mountain Europe.
He is also a member of Team Garmin Greece, a member of Team 100 Mentors, also of the Board of Directors of Blue Cedar AEEAP. He is an Inspirational-Motivational Speaker at companies, Universities, events and at Tedx, as well as a goodwill ambassador for the schools of Avgouleas Linardatou.

He is the only Greek who has climbed 5 of the 14 octave peaks of the land of the top mountaineering project Grand slam:
-Everest 8.848m
-Kangchenjunga 8.586m
-Manaslu 8.163m
-Lhotse 8.516m -Annapurna 8.091m

Participated as the only Greek, in the international winter mission 2020/21 in K2, 8.611m (7.450m)
